My name is Phoebe and I am: an artist, a wanderer, a creature of the universe (also: cat mom of three, fiancé, friendly neighborhood bank teller).
I’ve never been the type of person who was so lucky as to know what they wanted to do with their life. That’s why I consider myself to be a wanderer. I have dedicated my life to being an influencer- to support those who are just as lost as I am and to show them that although we are lost, we are the ones making the best discoveries and enjoying life’s hidden gems. I have found traveling to be one of the most effective ways to cope with my mental health, perhaps because the space I occupy is too small for everything my brain craves. So here I am: showing the world that it is possible to live a fulfilling life battling your own brain.
I started Wander the Arctic in September 2017 because I was searching for something fulfilling to do with my life. I always had two main things at the very top of my bucket list and in 2017, I did them both and thought “now what?” That’s when Wander was born.
I am so grateful you are joining me on this journey. Wander the Arctic is my blog where I document my mental health journey in various ways including (but definitely not limited to): poetry, travel logs, art, photography and journal entries.
